The Second Book is Live on Amazon - The Candy Maker Resume

The Candy Maker Resume: - Resume Writing Hacks
(Resume Psychology Volume 2)
Paperback
80 Pages
ASIN: 0692652698
ISBN-13: 978-0692652695

This book is the "how-to" for creating effective resume content for people who have no idea where to start or how to begin.

It seemed an unlikely problem to have from my perspective.

But over the years it became apparent (Thank You: Blane & Larry) that there is a need for "something" for those in need of a "show-me-how” set of relatable and repeatable action steps for resume content creation.

Much of what is covered in the book can be found in this blog. But if learn differently, prefer books to PowerPoint decks, you now have a choice.

I am excited to get this information out as my friends Blane & Larry have said all along "people need examples." Thank you both for pushing me to do more on this topic.

While the methods are low-tech, the payoff should be a confidence in your resume content to allow you to shift your focus to far more important things like networking with people and navigating multiple offers.

From the back cover of the book:

The Candy Maker Resume reveals resume writing hacks per the Resume Psychology series.

The Candy Maker Resume is the essential how-to for creating consistent resume content. Its purpose is to teach people how to hack their resume content consistently so it scores well with the technology and engages the human reader.

The Candy Maker Resume reviews the resume of our new friend and professional candy-maker Sara Elf. We transform her 3-word resume from a vague document to one where her expertise is self-evident.

These techniques will not only help Sara's resume, but they will help you as well. Inside The Candy Maker Resume we learn more about:
• Expand the work-vocabulary to expand your content
• How detail is the key to demonstrating scale
• How to repeat content in multiple contexts
• Make compound statements more readable
• How common-behaviors stops disqualifying questions
